My Sweet LDR is a blog that helps couples in (very) long distance relationships to grow in their daily lives.
The Pacific Ocean has been separating me and my girlfriend for more than 2 years (LDR France – Peru!). However, we are living the most beautiful love relationship of our life.

The Virtual Date Box, what is it, who is it for?
It’s a virtual date box that allows couples to spend a romantic evening together from a distance.
If you are in love with someone and they are not physically present with you right now, this web page will interest you.
Each box costs $10 and has a different theme.
Due to their success, I decided to create several of them adapted to different themes!
The next ones will be on the languages of love and Christmas 🙂
How and why to create a Virtual Date Box ?
The history of the box is closely linked to our long distance relationship story with my Peruvian girlfriend.
We really started our long distance love at the same time as the air borders closed, in March 2020.
At that time before our video calls, we would choose a topic of discussion in advance (for example: music, travel, food, amusement parks… ) and choose 10 questions to ask each other.
When we could, we also found a little game to play online (and free!)
It was fun and quite playful: we discovered things about each other, we renewed our discussions and especially we spent our evenings laughing!
I had not yet created My Sweet LDR. We were doing this because we loved each other and wanted to show it.
The idea of creating a Virtual Date Box came to me much later.
December 2021:
After several months in Peru, I have to go back to France for Christmas. Goodbye to the days in t-shirt, and hello the hat.
It’s not the first time that we physically separate, with Kyomi. I know how painful it is. Especially the first days. It feels like life has no flavor anymore.
You have a lot of doubts in those moments. Saying « goodbye » in a long distance relationship is not one of the most pleasant moments. You know this as well as I do.
I spent my 12 hours of flight time thinking about the best possible evening we could spend at a distance:
- I went back over my ideas for questions and activities on my old notes
- I came up with new ones
- I found a way to create surprise and suspense during the date (more on that below)
I created a custom-made virtual romantic date that lasts about 3 hours to help her feel better in the first few days after I leave.
And guess what?
She loved it!
She was even the one who told me that I should do a « clean » version and talk about it on My Sweet LDR.
I was quite skeptical at first, but when we exchanged on the different benefits of such a date, it convinced me.

The secret challenge
When you buy a long distance date box, I give you a secret challenge (to you and your partner) to complete during the date.
Doid you do it without your partner noticing? Good for you! You can give a token.
But be careful, if your partner validates the secret challenge, you will be the one in trouble.
The secret challenges are different, and you don’t know your partner’s. And I give you 3 suggestions of tokens.
The naughty game
Dating usually ends the same way: in the bed!
In your case, the distance prevents this possibility.
That’s why I wanted to include a naughty game in the VDNB. And it is unique!
It works the same way as the secret challenge.
You will have different information about the game than your partner, depending on the game.
Not the same questions, the same challenges…
This way, it’s impossible to know in advance how the game will go! The naughty game is different for each long distance date box.
