LDR Songs: 100 musics to discover + playlist (2021)

In the music industry, there are LDR songs and music.

Some of them have become extremely popular internationally, like « Jet Lag » by the Canadian band Simple Plan, « When You’re Gone » by Avril Lavigne or more recently « Break The Distance » by Ashton Edminster.

It’s simple: Kyomi and I both knew these three songs even though we come from Peru and France respectively!

What I love about music, especially LDR songs, is that it takes us back to moments in our lives.

For example, when I listen to this music of Orelsan, I think of our first trip to Paracas.
Or this Karol G’s hit: I remember myself with Kyomi playing chess, from a distance.

Each couple has its own music that brings back memories. Human beings work by association of ideas, I don’t teach you anything.

We manage to mix our senses and our emotions to remember the best moments of our life (or the worst, unfortunately…)

I also bet you remember exactly where you were when you found out you had passed your dream exam, your team won the soccer world cup or when your sister told you she was pregnant.

This is exactly what happens with music. In a way, it conditions us.

The problem is that if you don’t recognize yourself in the lyrics or don’t like the musicality, the moments you experience with your partner will be less emotionally charged. Having one or more LDRs on hand to remind you of those precious moments spent together is essential.
